Welcome to TravelInfoAfrica.Com
This is an information website operated as public service by the Southern California Chapter of the Africa Travel Association (SoCalATA) to assist the traveling public with their plans for visiting and touring the Continent of Africa - from just one, to all 53 of her countries.
YOU should find many of your Africa travel questions answered on the pages we have prepared, plus we list the SoCalATA Africa Travel Specialists who can assist you with your planning and arrangements; however as step one, check your passport or if you do not have one, get one -- because without a valid passport you'll go nowhere!
Africa Travel Association, (ATA) established and serving Africa since 1975 is a non-profit association of travel and tour professionals and companies engaged in providing travel services and promoting travel and tourism to Africa.
The ATA is governed by a Board of Directors composed of all sectors of the tourism and travel industry, representing both the private and public sectors. Presidents of ATA are elected from Ministers of tourism of African member countries.
The ATA International Secretariat is located in New York City, with chapters in several major U.S. cities, as well as in Africa, Europe and Australia.
ATA Southern California Chapter is described in greater depth under "SoCalATA" and we look forward to your support.
